Childrens Free Library
A nonprofit out of Maine called "Guinea Reads" has offered to build a stand-alone library for the children. The village elders met with Bolokada to discuss the project and agreed to a location adjacent to the school. Thank you John Marlow of "Guinea Reads" for this offer to help Morowaya! We look forward to partnering with you!

Healthy and Happy Baby Boy!
Both mother and baby are doing fine!

Clinic Maintenance
The clinic lost power because the solar batteries and panels needed maintenance. Thank goodness the pharmacy refrigerator has its own solar connection and power. We didn't lose any meds. Everything is in working order now!

Doctor's House Part II
The doctor's house is complete and he has officially moved in! The village is happy that he lives right next door to the clinic now. We are too!

Morowaya Health Clinic - Busy Week
Oh my goodness Dr. Sekouba Conde has been busy! Look at these beautiful twins (one boy - one girl) and another baby girl born a couple days later! We're so happy to report that both mothers and all three babies are doing fine. Maybe our doctor and midwife can use some rest.

Students being introduced to an IPad
These students are being introduced to a few IPads that were donated by John Marlow and his nonprofit called "Guinea Reads". John uploaded stories, articles of interest, etc. in French language to be used for the continued education of the children. The IPads open certainly hold their interest and encourages them to study! These students learn in French but can only practice with each other because most of the parents speak their indigenous language of Malinke. Stay tuned
