Can you even imagine being on a motorcycle while in labor?! The woman in these photos entered into a complicated labor and needed to get to the hospital which is a couple hours drive. The only transportation at this time is a motorcycle.

A nonprofit out of Maine called "Guinea Reads" has offered to build a stand-alone library for the children. The village elders met with Bolokada to discuss the project and agreed to a location adjacent to the school. Thank you John Marlow of "Guinea Reads" for this offer to help Morowaya!
